This role is responsible for ensuring our clients have an excellent experience that demonstrates our core values. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented professional who can not only manage client relationships, but also identify opportunities to expand client accounts through upselling. This role is responsible for making sure client and customer needs are being met and understood by the team. When needed, this person will facilitate any client concerns, working to find solutions to any client issues and coordinating team members to ensure clients are experiencing our “Wow Our Client” core value.

Top Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure a tremendous client experience for our existing marketing and web clients
  2. Conduct regular account reviews and provide clients with performance reports and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  3. Advocate for both the client’s needs and goals, and communicate and support the Informatics team to deliver the best results.
  4. Seek to grow existing client relationships through a strong understanding of our services, as well as the clients’ businesses.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, such as digital marketing strategists, creative teams, and technical teams, to deliver client projects and initiatives in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Assist the Business Growth Director in the organization’s growth strategy, and serve as a positive face of our agency in the community by attending events and Give Back opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) in account management or business development.
  • Experience working in a digital agency or marketing agency preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to identify upselling opportunities and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, tools, and platforms including SEO, social media, email marketing, and web analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex information and upsell to clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and present recommendations to clients.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (HubSpot), project management software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing client needs and industry trends.
