Business Growth Specialist

The Business Growth Specialist position is important to our team by cultivating new relationships and securing new business to help reach our growth goals. They will help identify opportunities to grow existing business that will help our clients continue to reach their goals. This includes performing a variety of responsibilities like identifying prospective clients, relationship building that represents our company values, monitoring the competitive environment, and making recommendations that will allow us to better serve our clients. They will maintain useful data in HubSpot and provide reports that will help with decision making and strategy discussions.

Top Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Conduct effective research and prospecting to successfully gain new clients
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, learn their challenges and identify ways our company can help them reach their goals
  3. Create and present custom proposals and presentation materials for prospective clients and new projects
  4. Utilize important information in HubSpot and provide reporting
  5. Create and maintain sales contracts and agreements

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in new business sales and prospecting
  • Experience in client relations and excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience in account strategy preferred
  • Experience working in the marketing or software industries preferred
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot and data analysis is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to understand other businesses and industries, listen and learn their struggles, and identify ways we can help
  • Must have a passion for finding improvements in all processes and be a constant learner
  • Must be driven and eager to see the company succeed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communications, business analytics or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5-7 years relevant sales or marketing experience required
  • Experience in client service and support required
  • Experience in CRM systems preferred

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times
