We currently have an opening for a paid Digital Marketing Internship in our downtown Cedar Rapids location. In this capacity, you will assist the Digital Marketing Team with client work and internal marketing initiatives. Informatics is looking for a motivated, eager intern who is excited to contribute their talents and is passionate about learning more.
Key Responsibilities:
This intern will work under the guidance of our Digital Marketing Director and partner with several team members on our Digital Marketing Team, as well as team members from other functions of our business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create and post social media content.
- Monitor social media inquiries and engage with customers.
- Create digital content, including blogs, email newsletters, and ad copy.
- Assist with search engine optimization initiatives such as keyword research, link building, and content optimization.
- Create and manage paid ads on various platforms.
- Conduct market research, conversion tracking, and analytics projects.
- Participate in client facing and internal strategy meetings.
Position Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or closely related field.
- Ability to work 25+ hours per week during the summer months, within Informatics’ standard office hours. Willing to be flexible on schedules.
- Strong content creation and storytelling skills required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and popular social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus.
- Demonstrated work ethic and proven track record as an outstanding performer.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Detail oriented.
- A passion for innovation and a constant learner.
