Job Summary
Informatics is evolving into a Strategic Growth Partner, and this role exists first and foremost to make clients feel and believe that shift. The Marketing Specialist: Social & Marketing Operations is a mid-level, hybrid role whose primary value is strategic: the ability to sit across from a client, understand what the business actually needs, and shape a plan — then execute or direct the execution across paid and organic social, influencer partnerships, and marketing operations as those needs shift.
Channel execution matters, but it is in service of the strategic relationship, not the other way around. This person is judged first on whether clients trust their judgment and see them as a thought partner, and second on the quality of the social, influencer, and operations work underneath that partnership. On the operations side, you will bring working knowledge of HubSpot and other CRMs, along with landing page platforms, to support the agency's broader marketing infrastructure. SEO experience is not required for this role, but it is a strong plus given how closely search, social, and content strategy increasingly overlap.
Because Informatics client needs shift quickly, this role requires genuine comfort moving between disciplines while keeping the strategic thread intact — reframing a client conversation one day, directing a social calendar the next, negotiating an influencer deal the day after, always tying the work back to what the client is actually trying to achieve.
Top 5 Role Outcomes:
- Strategic Client Partnership: In this role, success is defined by clients experiencing you as their strategic thought partner first and channel executor second. You tie every recommendation — whether social, influencer, or operational — explicitly back to the client's stated business objectives before presenting it, and you communicate with clients, both in writing and verbally, in a way that's professional, clear, and confidence-building, even in difficult conversations like missed targets, budget pushback, or scope creep. Account and strategy teams rely on you as a true extension of the strategic relationship, not just a delivery resource.
- Paid & Organic Social Growth: You drive paid and organic social strategies for assigned clients that produce measurable growth in engagement, reach, and channel-specific conversion goals. You establish performance baselines and targets at the start of each engagement and track them monthly, and you make content and paid spend decisions strategically against client business goals — not just channel best practices.
- Influencer & Partnership Programs: You source, vet, and manage influencer partnerships to align with brand fit and campaign objectives. You track and document contracts, deliverables, and usage rights for every influencer engagement, and you hold influencer program performance to the same rigor as paid media.
- Marketing Operations Support: You configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HubSpot and other client CRMs to support accurate lead and campaign data. You build, optimize, and QA landing pages to support campaign performance across platforms, and you document operational work — CRM hygiene, landing page updates, campaign tracking — so it hands off cleanly to the wider team.
- Adaptive Execution Across Shifting Priorities: You flex across social, influencer, and operations work as client and agency needs change — without losing the strategic thread connecting the work back to the client's goals. You proactively evaluate and adopt emerging tools, platforms, and channel shifts, including in social and marketing tech, and you treat ambiguity in a fast-moving week as normal, not a blocker to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a client-facing strategic resource, presenting recommendations and performance in a clear, professional manner
- Diagnose what a client's business actually needs before defaulting to a channel-specific tactic, and build the case for that direction
- Connect day-to-day social, influencer, and operational work back to each client's broader business objectives
- Partner with account and strategy teams to ensure client-facing communication is consistent and confidence-building, including in difficult conversations
- Develop and execute paid and organic social strategies across platforms (e.g., Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) tailored to each client's goals
- Build and manage content calendars, community management cadences, and paid social campaign builds
- Monitor, optimize, and report on paid and organic social performance, adjusting strategy based on results
- Identify, vet, and negotiate with influencers aligned to client brand and campaign goals
- Manage influencer contracts, deliverables, timelines, and usage rights
- Track and report on influencer campaign performance alongside paid and organic social metrics
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HubSpot and other client CRMs to support accurate lead and campaign data
- Build, QA, and optimize landing pages across common platforms to support campaign performance
- Support broader marketing operations infrastructure (tracking, tagging, campaign QA) as needed across client accounts
Required Skills & Abilities:

- Experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing influencer partnerships
